Our Virtual Community Health Clinic operates on a structured yet adaptable framework, allowing our staff to efficiently deliver support while adhering to federal and state regulations. The LCSW will be integral to the comprehensive care provided to young children with developmental delays or disabilities. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Monitoring child outcomes as a cohesive member of an interdisciplinary team, adjusting interventions as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Providing guidance and ongoing support to families, empowering them with skills and strategies to foster their child's development.
• Encouraging effective communication and rapport-building with children and families to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and natural learning environments to promote development across physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication areas.
• Adhering to all federal and state regulations and standards to ensure compliance and quality of service delivery.

This role primarily focuses on children aged 0-3 who may experience disabilities or developmental delays. Our evidence-based practices aim to support their growth across various domains while fostering family engagement to enhance learning and development at home. By tailor-making interventions to suit individual needs, our LCSWs play a crucial role in bridging the gap between families and the resources available to them.

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Current LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license to facilitate any necessary travel for in-home visits.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring respectful collaboration with team members and families alike.

While the minimum experience requirement is one year of focused work with children in early intervention, we encourage candidates with additional qualifications such as bilingual abilities, familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices, and those who demonstrate confidence in adapting to various learning styles to apply. Familiarity with coaching models and natural environment teaching methodologies is highly desirable.
