Imperia Counseling is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position is designed to be remote, allowing for the flexibility to work from home while being part of a collaborative team that values and supports one another. Our typical work environment includes virtual meetings, case coordination via telecommunication tools, and continuing education sessions aimed at enhancing professional growth. Given that the role involves working closely with minor clients, you will also engage with family members through virtual platforms, ensuring a comprehensive support system.

As an LCSW, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to ascertain the mental health needs of children and families.
• Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring that they reflect the unique needs and goals of each child.
• Monitoring outcomes collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal progress and success.
• Leveraging evidence-based practices to develop tailored intervention plans that foster developmental milestones in children.
• Providing essential support to families, offering information and resources that empower them to enhance their child's development.
• Utilizing a coaching model and natural environment teaching approaches to facilitate learning in children.
• Complying with all federal and state regulations, ensuring the health and safety of clients and staff alike.

Your work will primarily focus on young children, specifically those with disabilities or developmental delays, and their families. Understanding the challenges faced by these populations is critical. The LCSW will engage in various programs aimed at addressing developmental issues in children from birth to three years, promoting physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills. Your contribution will directly impact their ability to learn and thrive.

The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Valid LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health in Illinois.
• A current driver's license ensuring accessibility to service areas as needed.
• A solid foundation in early intervention practices, demonstrating a commitment to inclusive and effective methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions with children, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills, enabling effective handling of multiple cases simultaneously.
• A respectful and collaborative approach towards teamwork and accountability.
