Remote public accounting refers to providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to clients while working outside of a traditional office environment, typically from home or another remote location. This setup leverages technology to communicate with clients, share documents securely, and perform accounting tasks online. Remote public accountants can work for accounting firms or as independent contractors, serving clients across various industries.
