• Conduct thorough client assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans that cater to individual, couples, and family dynamics.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions via telehealth, adapting techniques to best suit the emotional and psychological needs of clients affected by grief, loss, and terminal illnesses.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and volunteers, to provide holistic care that attends to both physical and emotional health.
• Keep meticulous records of client interactions, including detailed progress notes and treatment modifications, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing supervision and participate in routine professional development activities to further enhance your clinical competencies.
• Advocate for clients' needs, promoting resources and support to improve their quality of life during challenging times.

The primary focus of this role will be on clients receiving hospice care and their families. You'll interact with individuals who face significant emotional turmoil due to terminal diagnoses and the accompanying grief of caregivers. Understanding the complexities of bereavement, psychological distress, and the need for compassionate support is essential to successfully guide clients through their personal journeys.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong theoretical foundation in mental health practices.
• Active and unencumbered state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.
• At least three years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient care setting, demonstrating depth in therapeutic knowledge.
• Comprehensive understanding of a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and grief counseling techniques.
