• Conduct thorough initial assessments to create individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ mental health goals.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage with clients in real-time during telehealth sessions, adapting sessions to their specific needs and circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, complying with local laws and ethical standards, while actively managing caseloads in efficient electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic, client-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and techniques.

In this role, you will primarily support individuals and families facing a wide array of mental health challenges. Your clients may include children, adolescents, adults, and seniors dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and substance use disorders. Your empathetic approach and tailored interventions will significantly impact their recovery and personal development.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field with a strong emphasis on clinical practice.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with demonstrated proficiency in clinical environments.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards associated with mental health practice, including compliance with HIPAA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and contribute to client care strategies.
• Familiarity with EMR software and other digital communication tools used in telehealth settings.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse recovery is highly desirable.
• Experience in providing telehealth services is a plus, as it requires adaptability and comfort with technology-driven platforms.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and client load.
