As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish baseline treatment objectives.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored, recovery-focused treatment plans that promote the client's strengths, goals, and desired outcomes.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients develop essential coping, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Educate clients about available community resources, advocating for their access to vital supports and services that can contribute to their recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.

This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, primarily adults aged 18 and older, who may face various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. Your approach will be client-centered, fostering a therapeutic alliance based on trust, empathy, and respect for individual differences.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license to practice independently as one of the following: LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• Experience providing direct clinical services within the mental health field.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your license.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools for delivering remote counseling services.

While not required, the following experience will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges or intersecting stressors.
• Knowledge of community resources and systems to assist clients in navigating their support networks effectively.
