Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations through preliminary interviews, collecting and documenting relevant case information, and developing individualized treatment strategies from the initial consultation to conclusion.
  • Assessing clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify areas of concern and crafting appropriate intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Facilitating individual therapy sessions to provide deeper insight and support, as well as leading group therapy sessions aimed at shared healing and coping strategies.
  • Continuously monitoring client progress throughout their treatment plan, making necessary adjustments, and employing evidence-based practices to enhance outcomes.
  • Collaborating effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to develop comprehensive intervention plans and provide coordinated care.
  • Following up with clients who have been admitted to hospitals to ensure continuity of care and liaising with attending physicians to communicate critical insights.
  • Identifying and mitigating behaviors that may hinder recovery, utilizing proactive strategies to encourage client resilience.
  • Supporting family members and primary caregivers with education and resources related to navigating mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a wide range of clients in the Springfield area, focusing on individuals from all walks of life who are experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. This role allows you to work closely with diverse populations, addressing unique cultural and socioeconomic factors that influence mental health outcomes. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure in the state of Illinois as one of the following: LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
