Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through a variety of diagnostic techniques, tailored to their unique situations.

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods to promote healing and growth.

  • Follow up with medical professionals regarding clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
Preferred Experience

While previous counseling experience is essential, we highly value candidates who have:
