This role is designed for remote engagement, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being part of a collaborative and innovative mental health team. Our normal operation hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments with a focus on cultural sensitivity to develop tailored treatment plans for individuals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, applying methodologies that respect each patient's unique cultural and personal history.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that foster resilience and address various mental health concerns.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care and coordinated treatment efforts.
• Provide prompt crisis intervention and support in urgent mental health situations, adapting your approach based on the crisis context.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems to comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, ensuring our approaches are current and effective.

Your work will primarily involve assisting diverse populations, including ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities, who often face unique challenges in accessing mental health care. Your role will be crucial in providing them with the culturally responsive support they need for better mental health outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
• Demonstrated understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from various cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in using EHR systems and familiar with necessary technology for remote therapy sessions.

• Previous experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive techniques.
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to perform under pressure during challenging situations.
• Experience working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
