This position allows for a fully remote working arrangement, promoting a healthy work-life balance while ensuring that you contribute to vital mental health services. Although the role is remote, our counselors actively collaborate with other team members through regular virtual meetings and consultations. You will have access to advanced electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant technology that facilitates seamless communication and coordination of care.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies addressing the unique needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage in therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, families, and groups, facilitating discussions that help individuals explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal requirements and ethical standards to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Actively participate in workshops and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

The counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus is on making mental health services accessible to those who typically have limited access to care, ensuring that every client receives the support needed to navigate their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with EMR software and associated technologies is essential for streamlined documentation and record-keeping.

• Specialization or additional training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse are highly regarded.
• Experience working within outpatient settings or similar mental health facilities.
• Continuing education in evidence-based therapeutic methods or techniques will enhance application.

• The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
