This role is designed for remote work but connects closely with our outpatient office setting based in Huntington, New York. Our organization utilizes modern technology to facilitate seamless communication among team members and clients. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Evaluate client progress toward goals set in treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure effective support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive and integrative intervention plans.
• Coordinate and follow up with medical professionals when clients require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and a smooth transition between services.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery, implementing strategies to prevent setbacks and support clients in their healing processes.
• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, fostering an environment of care and empathy.

• A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required.
• A valid License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 101,000 annually, reflective of experience and productivity. Additional benefits include:
