Maple Valley Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position is primarily remote, allowing counselors to manage their schedules effectively while maintaining a high standard of care. Although much of the work is done remotely, counselors may occasionally collaborate in an outpatient office setting for team meetings or training sessions. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and growth.
• Develop tailored treatment plans for clients, continuously monitoring and adjusting these plans based on client progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create cohesive intervention strategies.
• Provide follow-up care and support for clients who have been admitted to hospitals, ensuring open lines of communication with attending physicians and specialists.
• Identify barriers to recovery, proactively addressing client behaviors that may impede treatment progress.
• Engage with family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools and strategies to support their loved ones through challenging behavioral health issues.

Our client base consists of individuals seeking assistance with a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or social work.
• Proven experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar therapeutic role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.
• In-depth understanding of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals.
• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Relevant certifications in counseling methodologies and therapeutic techniques will be considered an asset.

• Experience working within a remote counseling model is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Background in family therapy or experience working with couples will be beneficial.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 101,000 annually, commensurate with experience and productivity. Additionally, selected candidates will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including:
