• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health status, specifically identifying emotional and psychological challenges linked to their hospice care.
• Design personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique situation, preferences, and cultural background, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods, focusing on grief, loss, and coping strategies while addressing the impacts of terminal conditions.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, including nurses and doctors, to create integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.
• Educate families and caregivers about mental health issues and treatment strategies to enhance their involvement in the care process and support their loved ones effectively.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices.

In this role, you will work primarily with hospice patients and their families. Your clients are individuals dealing with terminal illnesses, often experiencing complex emotions associated with end-of-life issues. By providing psychological support, you will help clients navigate their feelings of grief, fear, and anxiety, enhancing their overall experience during a vulnerable phase of their lives.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in settings that address end-of-life and grief issues.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with the treatment team and document care accurately.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and platforms to facilitate remote therapy sessions.
• Specialized training in grief counseling, trauma, or related areas is a plus.

• The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 – 104,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
