• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Monitor and assess client progress toward treatment goals, adjusting therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment plans, client interactions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, ensuring timely access to appropriate resources and referrals.
• Engage and support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges their loved ones face.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

• Proven experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a comparable role within outpatient settings.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their effects, enabling collaboration with medical professionals for client care.
• Experience in providing family therapy and co-facilitating group therapy sessions.
