• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients to determine their emotional, psychological, and social needs, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique requirements.
• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide effective psychotherapy to individuals and groups.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards at all times.
• Foster collaborative relationships with an interdisciplinary team, engaging psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical staff in case discussions to optimize patient care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer reviews to continuously improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their care journey.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in social work and mental health, actively integrating new knowledge into practice.

Your primary focus will be on serving patients within a hospice care context, providing support to individuals experiencing terminal illnesses, and addressing the associated mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in helping patients and their families navigate the emotional landscape during this sensitive period, fostering resilience and coping mechanisms that enhance their quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and the ability to apply them effectively in clinical practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and remote counseling platforms.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet treatment goals within established timelines.
