• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, identifying strengths and areas needing assistance.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the individual needs of patients.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of professionals, such as psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure integrated and seamless care for every patient.
• Assist patients and their families in understanding mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, providing an educational perspective to empower decision-making.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based approaches to enhance the therapeutic experience.
• Work in partnership with the treatment team to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate patient goals, preferences, and cultural considerations.
• Support patients in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and individualized needs when encountering barriers to care.
• Lead therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation workshops, and discharge planning meetings to ensure comprehensive patient support throughout their treatment journey.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, fostering robust communication and coordination of care.

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting.
• Familiarity with local mental health resources and support services in the Salem area.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to mental health awareness.
