Clean Harbors is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to work remotely for our Environmental Services group. This role oversees the development and execution of business specific people initiatives that align and support overall business strategy. This role focuses on working with the business leaders to promote a culture of positive employee relations and employee engagement.

  • Support the full lifecycle of employee relations cases, including intake, triage, investigation, documentation, and closure in accordance with the ER SOP.

  • Assist in ensuring all cases are handled promptly, objectively, and consistently, with accurate case files and proper follow-through.

  • Conduct extensive fact-finding campaigns for high-risk or complex cases including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, substance abuse, unethical conduct, and policy violations.

  • Ensure ER investigations meet standards of neutrality, confidentiality, timeliness, and compliance with company policy and employment law.

  • Support ER case management systems and ensure data integrity, timely updates, and accuracy of all documentation.

  • Support the generation of quarterly trend analyses, including insights related to turnover drivers, leader-specific patterns, workplace climate concerns, and cultural risk indicators.

  • Assist in translating ES&S ER trends into actionable solutions, training interventions, and policy recommendations to strengthen organizational culture and mitigate future risk.

  • Promote a proactive, prevention-focused ER culture that supports prompt resolution of concerns and empowers leaders to address issues before escalation.
