About This Role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Tax Compliance Consultant for a seasonal 3 month assignment to support state income tax compliance for large, complex organization. This role focuses on preparing corporate federal and multi-state income tax returns and working with large data sets in a fast-paced Fortune 100 Company environment.
All remote / Pay rate $70-80/hour / 3 month Project
What You Will Work On
  • Prepare state and local corporate income tax returns utilizing excel workpapers following OneSource tax provision (OTP) models, OneSource state apportionment (OSA) reports, and other external fed-state adjustment calculations for input, and Corptax compliance software is used for return output.
  • Workpapers are set up by client within a system that pulls information from various sources (OneSource tax provision, OneSource apportionment, Corptax compliance)
  • Responsible for updating/calculating fed-state adjustments and reconciling between the excel workpaper models and Corptax forms to ensure consistency between Corptax PDF forms output and excel workpaper inputs.
  • Responsible for preparing e-file packages/clearing validation errors, and uploading required attachments prior to e-filing. Must have multistate corporate income tax knowledge (separate and combined filings)
  • Preparer role only
  • Corptax compliance software experience is essential as we often need to input adjustments for the returns directly in Corptax. Bonus if familiar with OTP and OSA but not necessary
