What is a remote provider network development specialist?

A Remote Provider Network Development specialist is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing healthcare providers to join a health plan’s network, all while working remotely. They negotiate contracts, ensure providers meet quality standards, and maintain strong relationships to ensure network adequacy. This role often involves analyzing data to identify network gaps and collaborating with internal teams to address member needs. Remote work allows these specialists to connect with providers across various regions without needing to be on-site.

One of the main challenges in Remote Provider Network Development is building strong relationships with providers and stakeholders without regular face-to-face interaction. This requires effective virtual communication skills and the ability to leverage digital collaboration tools. About Ingram Micro

At Ingram Micro, we believe technology powers the world-and we're behind the scenes making it happen. With global reach and our digital platform Xvantage, we connect technology manufacturers, cloud providers, and partners to nearly every corner of the market. As part of our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) business, you'll play a key role in helping organizations responsibly manage the lifecycle of their IT assets-driving both business value and environmental impact.

The Opportunity

This is not a farming role. This is a true hunter position. As an Acceleration Executive, you will focus on net-new enterprise business, identifying and engaging Fortune 500 organizations to build and scale ITAD programs. You'll be at the forefront of expanding our footprint-introducing new customers to the strategic and environmental value of IT asset disposition.

If you thrive in outbound sales, enjoy building something from scratch, and can confidently engage senior decision-makers-this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

  • Hunt for Net-New Business
Identify, prospect, and engage large enterprise organizations (10K+ employees) through cold outreach, events, and targeted campaigns
  • Create & Convert Pipeline
Leverage tools like ZoomInfo and industry insights to build a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships
  • Sell Strategic ITAD Solutions
Position the value of ITAD programs-including cost optimization, compliance, and sustainability impact
  • Engage Senior Decision-Makers
Build relationships with IT, procurement, and finance leaders responsible for asset lifecycle and refresh strategies
  • Drive Category Growth
Identify whitespace opportunities and bring net-new partners into the ITAD ecosystem
  • Leverage Platform Insights
Use Xvantage data and analytics to uncover opportunities and guide partner adoption
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Partner closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to accelerate deal velocity and customer onboarding

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • Proven success in hunter/outbound sales or business development roles
  • Experience selling into large enterprise organizations (Fortune 500 or similar)
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, asset lifecycle, or technology solutions
  • Ability to confidently engage technical and business stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills-you build trust quickly and influence decisions
  • Comfortable learning new platforms and translating complex concepts into value-driven messaging
  • Creative, solution-oriented mindset with a bias for action
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, build-mode environment

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a similar role
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events

Why Join Us

At Ingram Micro, you're not just filling a role-you're helping shape the future of technology distribution and sustainability.

You'll get:

  • The opportunity to build a high-impact pipeline from the ground up
  • Exposure to enterprise clients and strategic deals
  • A role at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and innovation
  • A collaborative culture that values results, curiosity, and ownership
