  • Advanced degree or legal industry certifications (e.g., APMP, JD, MBA) a plus.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in proposal writing and management, preferably within a law firm, professional services firm, or other B2B environment.
  • Experience responding to complex RFPs for legal services or similar professional services clients.
  • Experience with online purchasing systems and other procurement-driven processes.

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities; able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Knowledge of legal industry trends, client expectations, and competitive landscape.

Attributes:

  • Highly responsive in terms of speed and accuracy
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a client-centric mindset and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to see both the details (including grammar and other rules), as well as the larger, strategic considerations for each request
