Tax Accountant CPA Firm (Remote, Aventura, FL)

Location: Aventura area of Miami, FL (Remote with occasional in-office meetings)
Type: Permanent / Full-time

ARC Group is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join a well-established CPA and tax consulting firm based in Aventura, FL. While this role is primarily remote, the ideal candidate should be local enough to attend occasional on-site meetings as needed.

Our client is known for its long-standing reputation of excellence and personalized client service. They are looking for a dedicated professional who can prepare a variety of tax returns and contribute to their growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.

  • Handle general accounting duties, including preparation of general ledger (GL) entries.

  • Calculate and prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments.

  • Conduct year-end accrual reviews and prepare tax provisions.

  • Prepare various personal property and other business tax filings (Annual Reports, Intangible Tax, Sales & Use Tax).

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in a Public Accounting or CPA firm (CPA license not required).

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing individual and business tax returns.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with FastTrack or similar tax software.

  • Proven experience with complex tax preparation, including corporate returns.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
