This position operates in a fully remote setting, offering flexibility and the convenience of working from home while serving students in the Sammamish, Washington area. You will integrate technology into your practice, utilizing electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms to connect with clients. You will also collaborate closely with educators, school administrators, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s care.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, educators, and families to report on student progress and address any concerns or needs that arise.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and progress notes in accordance with departmental policies and regulations.
• Respond swiftly to clients experiencing crises, offering immediate interventions to guarantee their safety and emotional stability.
• Conduct regular evaluations of clients’ progress towards individual treatment goals, adjusting therapeutic plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with families and support systems regarding treatment planning, discharge processes, and methods for ongoing support.
• Participate in organizational meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the practice.

The primary focus of this role is to work with school-aged children and adolescents who are facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will provide therapy to students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues, requiring a sensitive, tailored approach that acknowledges the unique environments these young clients navigate, both at school and home.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or an equivalent licensure.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required, particularly within an outpatient or school setting.
• Exceptional organizational, self-directed, and independent work skills are essential.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, email communication, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records.

Experience forming partnerships with schools and understanding the educational system can be advantageous. Prior work specifically within school-based mental health programs will enrich your approach and effectiveness in this role.
