ProSidian Seeks a Remote Sensing and Geospatial Support Analyst I (RSGS6) [Key Personnel | Junior Consultant - Exempt 874-1 Consultant] located: CONUS:ย  Washington DC and Salt Lake City, UT to provide Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, And Hunting Sector related Environmental Services Solutions for GTAC Remote Sensing & Geospatial Support Services on Behalf of The USDA Forest Service-SPOC SW (USDA-FS).ย  These services are considered part of the ProSidian Professional Services Sector Group with overall focuses being Multi-Sector Expertise, Experience, And Specialized Knowledge through Professional Services to Help Clients Solve Problems And Improve Operations under NAICS Code: 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services for The Department of Agriculture with service(s) also characterized as The purpose of this request for information is to gather vendor's ability to provide professional remote sensing and geospatial services for the Forest Service.

JOB OVERVIEW

Utilize remote sensing/geospatial technologies to provide technician level support for natural resource applications including basic image interpretation, photographic interpretation and analysis, routine data processing and management, map plot composition and production, and documentation, including report assembly and distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Demonstrated experience in creating scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript, ERDAS SML and EML, R, etc.) for automated processing and analysis/modeling of geospatial data, including remote sensing datasets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing technical reports, technology transfer and geospatial training materials for technology evaluation, development, and production/operational projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working with standard and disparate sources of airborne/satellite imagery types to assess, map,
  • ย monitor, and inventory natural resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to process, analyze, and model in enterprise geospatial software applications (e.g., ERDAS Imagine and Esri ArcGIS Pro) as well as open-source software packages.
