Position OverviewAXA XL Risk Consulting is seeking a Machinery Breakdown Risk Consultant to conduct site visits, collaborate with internal teams, and deliver engineering loss prevention and machinery breakdown risk assessments for U.S. customers.ResponsibilitiesConduct onsite visits to assess machinery breakdown exposures and develop detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.Utilize internal and external tools to evaluate risk quality at site level and communicate findings to internal teams.Collaborate with multiple lines of business to review complex risks and deliver the best risk control solutions.Work directly with clients to improve their machinery breakdown risk profile, demonstrating the value of risk control services.Service U.S. territories; work remotely with occasional office meetings, client presentations, and anticipate approximately 30% travel.QualificationsEngineering or science-based undergraduate degree; national board certification and TSSA experience are a plus.Experience in machinery breakdown risk assessment or loss prevention; knowledge of risk management and underwriting concepts preferred.Robust knowledge of equipment reliability and applicable standards; experience in mining, cement, or steel industry advantageous.Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical information to diverse audiences.Self-starter with excellent time-management and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.Collaborative team player, proactive across business lines, and effective with internal and external partners.RemunerationU.S.
