Position Description

The Administrative Project Manager provides project coordination and administrative management support. This role focuses on project tracking, contract administration, reporting, and communication between contractor personnel, customers, vendors, and the contractor's home office. The Administrative Project Manager serves as a liaison between internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable requirements.


This is a fully remote position requiring strong communication, organization, and virtual collaboration skills.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead interdepartmental teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
  • Outline project tasks and delegate assignments accordingly
  • Coordinate project schedules, reporting, and administrative activities
  • Track project status, deliverables, and milestones
  • Prepare management reports and maintain project documentation
  • Conduct cost analyses and estimate expected project costs
  • Prepare and implement project budgets based on approved estimates
  • Conduct risk assessments; identify and report risks to management and provide recommendations for risk mitigation, including project termination when appropriate
  • Address project-related questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a liaison between the company, customers, vendors, onsite personnel, and contractor management
  • Communicate and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information needed to support project, program, and system promotion efforts
  • Support contract compliance and administrative requirements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
  • Monitor project progress and identify scheduling, reporting, or administrative issues in a remote work environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
