Senior Project Manager

Strategic thinking and ability to prioritize work with competing priorities

In-depth understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

Proficiency in project management software and tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, Project, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to draft digestible executive and C-Suite communications and dashboards

Ability to manage medium to large-sized projects with complexity

Ability to read and apply technical requirements to project plans and identify process gaps, waste and improvement needs

Capable of leading project teams and coordinating cross-functional activities

Ability to identify and mitigate project risks

Enhanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance processes

Defines the project's statement of work, scope, charter, objectives, requirements, and success criteria

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, RACI, budgets and resource allocation

Defines and establishes a RACI with rules of engagement for the project team - communicates the RACI and sets expectations, roles and responsibilities of the project teams and SMEs

Identify and engage key business stakeholders, cross-functional stakeholders, SMEs, and other team members

Creates visuals (e.g., Gantt charts, process flows) for the purpose of informing the project plan

Use advanced project management tools to track performance and ensure timely completion of activities

Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and objectives

Facilitate project meetings with agendas and ensure effective collaboration among team members

Communicate project status, updates, and issues to executives, stakeholders and team members

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure smooth project execution

Prepare and seek approval for detailed budget estimates and monitor project activities to revise the budget as needed

Resolve priority, work approach, or interpersonal conflicts to ensure project continuity and alignment with strategic goals

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

Provide guidance and support to project teams to resolve challenges and obstacles

Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance

Partner with change practitioners to identify gaps and incorporate change plans into master project plan
