Job Title: Account Executive

Job Grade/Classification: Non-Exempt

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Director of Sales

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the procurement of sales for the company’s business contracts. This position works in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment and serves the company in the role of sales and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for prospective, new and existing clients. The incumbent develops and maintains professional relationships, working with clients and fulfilling their technology needs through product- knowledge, purchasing and customer service; and providing support prior to and after purchases are made.

Responsibilities, Duties & Accountabilities:

The core, critical and essential work duties, functions and responsibilities of the position are as follows:

  • Seeks and consults with potential and existing clients to identify, assess and understand their network and system needs; procuring sales and obtaining project’s specifications, timetables, budgets, etc.;
  • Establishes client needs versus desires in accordance with feasibility specifications and costs, and researches the environment, ascertaining conflicting technology issues, identifying environmental issues, which may impact the client’s desired product/services and making recommendations which are based on the best choice and price for the client’s needs;
  • Establishes the initial customer relations management role for sales and future projects, interacting with clients to perform the initial onsite visit assessments;
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources by which to identify future prospective clients;
  • Identifies sales opportunities, through customer interaction and engagement;
  • Supports the customer experience and increase sales through productknowledge and suggestions to the prospective customer; offers alternative product ideas or suggestions as appropriate;
  • Champions and meets/exceeds expected sales goals as established;
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Specialist to Identify new market segments that will benefit from the company’s services; supports marketing campaigns and activities based on market research;
  • Maintains and obtains knowledge of current and emerging products and services in order to provide the most impact for the company’s acquisitions;

  • Collaborates with the team and leadership to identify pertinent business needs and demands, and areas which provide for strategic and significant impacts;

  • Regular and routine attendance and punctuality is required;
  • Availability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Position Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, which may include Public Relations, Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated, successful experience working in sales, retail sales or customer service experience working with the general public
  • Demonstrated strong sales and service skills, with abilities to be independentlydriven and meet sales goals
  • Valid, Current Driver’s License (No more than Four (4) Points on current State Driving Record)
  • Demonstrated excellent knowledge of technical, electronic products and systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; ZoHo, Lucid or similar programs
  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; successfully multitask, using strong organizational skills, and excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about new products being developed
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in dealing with sensitive information, exercising considerable discretion and good judgment, demonstrated conscientious and dependable
