Job description

Our employees are at the heart of what we do: helping people, businesses and society prosper in good times and be resilient in bad times. When you join our team, you are bringing this purpose to life alongside a passionate community.

Feel empowered to learn and grow while being valued for who you are. At Intact, we commit to supporting you in reaching your goals with tools, opportunities, and flexibility. It’s our promise to you.

Who we are

At Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, we are experts at what we do in protecting what makes businesses unique. Our deep understanding of the specialty insurance market is the foundation for our customized solutions, backed by targeted risk control and claims services. Our employees are passionate about providing insurance coverage that’s aligned to our targeted customer groups.

Intact’s Global Specialty Lines business spans across more than 20 verticals in four distinct markets: U.S., Canada, UK and Europe. The following opportunity is for our U.S. team.

The opportunity

We are looking for an energetic, highly adaptable leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces change, and can successfully drive multiple complex initiatives forward simultaneously. The ideal candidate is energized by variety, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and excels at bringing structure, momentum, and results to strategic business priorities. In this prominent role, you will partner with leaders across the organization to advance transformational initiatives that shape the future of our business. You will operate at the center of competing priorities, connecting people, processes, and ideas while ensuring projects remain aligned, actionable, and moving toward successful outcomes.

Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building, organizational agility, and the ability to influence without authority. You must be comfortable shifting between strategic planning and tactical execution, identifying risks after they become obstacles, and maintaining momentum across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead multiple strategic projects and transformational initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a relentless focus on outcomes.
  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to define objectives, align stakeholders, remove barriers, and drive execution.
  • Bring clarity and structure to complex, evolving initiatives and rapidly changing business needs.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments, fostering collaboration, accountability, and shared ownership of results.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities, developing practical solutions that keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Drive progress through influence, communication, and stakeholder engagement rather than direct authority.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining focus, organization, and execution discipline.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, milestones, and governance practices that support successful delivery.
  • Monitor performance, communicate project health, and provide executive-ready updates, recommendations, and decision support.
  • Champion change management efforts that help teams successfully adopt new processes, capabilities, and ways of working.

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

  • Energized by managing a varied portfolio of initiatives rather than focusing on a single project.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and new opportunities emerge.
  • Confident working with senior leaders and influencing across all levels of the organization.
  • Naturally curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Exceptional at organizing complexity and driving action across multiple workstreams.
  • Comfortable making progress amid ambiguity and helping others navigate change.
  • Passionate about transformation, innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering business results.

The expertise you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience required
  • At least 10 years of IT, Insurance and/or project management experience. Project Management professional certification desirable, but not required
  • Prior management, supervisory or team leader experience helpful

Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $108,000 - $143,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $125,000 - $147,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance with no waiting period
  • Competitive paid time off programs
  • 401(k) savings and annual contributions of up to 12% of annual salary
  • Mental health support programs, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave and a variety of additional voluntary benefits

This position will remain posted until a final candidate is selected. Once the role is filled, this job posting will be removed.
