The Associate Project Manager you will have the opportunity to coordinate assigned aspects of Electrical Preventative Maintenance (EPM) projects. Each day, you will support in managing and executing the project by completing administrative tasks within assigned workflows. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project planning techniques on ongoing projects and driving the updating process.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conducting analysis of planned versus actual project performance.
  • Preparing materials and assisting in project reviews.
  • Taking ownership of the maintenance and adherence to the billing plan milestones.
  • Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned and procedures agreed with the customer.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts and contractors.
  • Manage complete lifecycle of customer deliverables - including the scheduling of contractors to work orders and following up on the finished work to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and create new business opportunities.
  • Assist with tracking financial, issuance of PO's, Change orders & invoicing.
  • Evaluate customer needs, make recommendations, and build/improve assigned account scorecards.
  • Research and order materials (parts), working closely with contractors, customers, utility companies and supply houses, handling material returns as needed.
  • Review and process quotes to ensure they provide the most appropriate and economical solutions.
  • Utilize company's existing service platform to monitor and track progress.
  • Schedule flexibility as some work managed will be on weekends and nights.
  • Limited travel to customer sites (as needed).

Your background:

  • 2+ construction project management experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail and the motivation to achieve an exemplary record for customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity and comfort with discussing electrical and mechanical services, or ability to learn.
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment, as well as a rapid work pace.
  • A creative thinker who can handle conflict resolution as needed and is not afraid to make suggestions.
  • High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a customer service/ account management/ project assistant role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Experience with direct facing field services support and solid understanding of logistical challenges of managing remote technical field personnel.
