Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team! The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and development of the organization by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential and existing clients. They work to develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets, and work closely with our Sales and Program Management team during project development.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in sales planning of KUS Americas - help with the development of new business.
  • Conduct market research and identifying potential clients
  • Develop and/or presenting proposals, presentations, and other sales materials
  • Organize and carry out business development work to ensure customer development meets business development needs
  • Continue to expand new customers with customer visits, exhibitions, forums and other forms to ensure that customer development meets business development needs
  • Explore needs of customers, and provide directional suggestions for the group's new product development
  • Organize and carry out new business related promotion activities, constantly expand old customers' new business, new customers' new business, and promote customer development
  • Organize and promote the development of new projects
  • Build and maintaining relationships with clients and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives
  • Supervise project development and improve customer relations
  • Supervise and attend to customer needs, deal with customer objections, receive customer visits to ensure the maintenance of good cooperative relations with customers
  • Combined with the base price of the cost center, Carry out customer quotation, organize and guide business price negotiation to ensure that the price consensus is reached under reasonable profit
  • Negotiate & Navigate BDM stage projects with potential clients


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum (business or engineering degree preferred)
  • Tier 1 supplier experience to the automotive, construction equipment, agriculture equipment, new energy market, utility vehicle, or recreational vehicle OEM preferred.
  • Good understanding of basic electrical and mechanical concepts with prior experience in engineering or technical sales
  • Ability to read / understand technical drawings preferred.
  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ISO / TS16949 system is a plus.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, and team cooperation.
  • Project Management and / or Business Development skills and expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills (including forecasting and program support).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently.
  • Strong work ethics and ability to work autonomously, and flexibly for any additional tasks needed.
