Tax Staff Accountant (Fully Remote)

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone)

We are partnering with a growing CPA firm that is looking to add a Tax Staff Accountant to its team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys public accounting and is looking to continue growing their career while working from home.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare federal and state individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
  • Assist with tax planning and tax research projects
  • Communicate with clients regarding tax-related questions and requests
  • Work closely with managers and partners on client engagements
  • Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Experience preparing 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120 tax returns
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season
  • CPA or CPA candidate is preferred but not required
