The expected base salary range for this position is $73,350 to $114,000. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager Client Delivery is responsible for the day-to-day management of client projects and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the agreed upon scope of work. The Project Manager Client Delivery will serve as the bridge between our clients, internal teams, and partners to manage the operational execution of projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Leads as an operational interface between the client and Company for project/service solutions.
  • Oversees moderate to complex programs and projects which includes management of tasks for solution planning, analysis, configuration, and execution.
  • Facilitates implementing business and system process best practices.
  • Manages relationship with business and executive stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation.
  • Plans and schedules project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Creates and manages project plans and timelines.
  • Defines project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
  • Aligns project objectives with company goals and ensures project team is clear on objectives.
  • Leads process of issue identification and resolution.
  • Monitors and manages scope of project.
  • Schedules and attends meetings with clients.
  • Demos the technology in proposed solutions to clients and others, where applicable.
  • Articulates design rationale and function strategy throughout the life of the project if new client or technical requirements necessitate new design or function strategy.
  • Presents work to the client at milestones throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Obtains, discusses, and follows through with client feedback.
  • Works with client for change orders as required for the lifecycle of the project.
  • Anticipates, investigates, and answers clients' questions.
  • Supports and helps troubleshoot delivered work during project and post-project.
  • Ensures client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered.
  • Manages project team members with regard to assigned tasks on those projects - team members are matrixed in for project assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to perform the job.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: PMP certification desired.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven project management experience. Must have at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience managing all stages of project-life cycle, from developing complete project plans and executing the management and implementation of those plans on time and within budget.
  • Experience working with CRO, pharmaceutical company, or other centralized service provider used in clinical studies a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen required. Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and forecasting skills.
  • Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage, motivate, and handle a client.
  • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to utilize technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and service.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.
  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to multi-process, delegate project tasks.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project and the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations using these tools.
