Shape the Future of Air Traffic Management with Peraton

At Peraton, we advance the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA's cutting-edge Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS). As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, we deliver the systems and services that keep our nation's skies safe, connected, and modern.

We're looking for innovative, mission-driven professionals who thrive in high-impact environments and want to make a real difference in air traffic management. This is your chance to work on one of the world's most critical transportation infrastructures, collaborating with experts in aviation, engineering, data science, and systems integration. At Peraton, you don't just support the mission-you define it.

Project Scheduler - Oklahoma City, OKShape the Future of Critical Aviation Programs

Join a team supporting complex, mission-critical programs that help keep the National Airspace System safe, efficient, and operational. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring program activities, providing the visibility and insight leadership needs to make informed decisions and keep projects moving forward.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, analytical professional who enjoys working across teams, solving scheduling challenges, and turning complex project information into clear, actionable plans.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard project management and scheduling tools, including task sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project performance and schedule health, identifying potential delays, variances, and emerging issues before they impact key milestones.
  • Analyze schedule impacts and work with project teams to develop practical corrective actions and recovery strategies.
  • Identify and manage critical path activities, schedule risks, constraints, and interdependencies to support successful project execution.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to track deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure action items are completed on time.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and high-level program schedules for management and stakeholder review.
  • Prepare clear, concise schedule reports and briefings that provide leadership with visibility into progress, risks, upcoming milestones, and areas requiring attention.
  • Facilitate schedule and planning meetings, working closely with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to maintain alignment.
  • Communicate schedule changes and project status effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project scheduling processes, tools, and best practices.
What You Bring
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate schedule feasibility, resource constraints, and project risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex schedule information into clear updates for technical and management audiences.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling principles, and industry best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to proactively identify issues and drive them toward resolution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Why This Opportunity Matters

Your work will directly contribute to the successful execution of complex programs supporting the aviation community. By providing accurate schedules, identifying risks early, and helping teams stay aligned, you will have a direct impact on program performance and mission success.

If you're a proactive scheduler who enjoys solving problems, coordinating across teams, and working on programs where schedule performance truly matters, we'd like to hear from you.
