The Senior Manufacturing Engineer position will be responsible for developing solutions with current and new technologies working within the Aerospace and Defense field.
Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Dixon, IL facility
Role Responsibilities:
  • Performs moderately complex professional engineering duties in a particular engineering field or area of specialization; participates in optimization, methods, and process development. Responsibilities may include leading more technical or specialized applications, products or projects, researching market/technical trends, and coordinating larger and cross-functional projects.
  • Works to achieve program, functional, and/or business targets within the team with direct impact on departmental results
  • Established professional; works under limited supervision
  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and sets objectives or goals of projects and assignments within the team
  • Typically performs within the department and has scope impact or insights across groups
  • Communicates with employees both within and outside of the department on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and/or advising; may communicate with external clients or partners depending upon the job function/organization
  • Influences employees within the department at a program/process level regarding concepts or practices and some advice on approaches
  • Responsible for making moderate improvements of programs, processes, procedures, or systems to contribute to the performance of the team
  • Problems faced are difficult and mildly complex and typically impact a single organization, department or multiple teams
  • Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees
  • May lead significant parts of moderately complex projects or processes

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years related professional engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage through competing projects and priorities efficiently with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels including other engineers and/or manufacturing.
  • Leading projects or project management
  • Lean or six sigma experience
  • Aerospace knowledge/experience.
  • Industrial or machine automation experience
  • Experience with FEA, preferably ANSYS software program.

Annual Salary Range: $86,200 - $125,580. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
