Position Overview
We're seeking a VDC Coordinator to create, manage, and maintain Building Information Models supporting construction projects. You'll work on 3D model development, 2D drawing production, and project deliverables while adhering to BIM standards. This role offers hands-on technical work under the guidance of our VDC Director and will report to Project Management while deployed daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain Revit models incorporating relevant building systems
  • Produce 2D drawings (shop overlays, coordination drawings, lift plans, assembly drawings) from BIM models
  • Perform quality control checks and implement corrective actions
  • Generate models from laser scans and field capture technologies
  • Support model coordination and clash detection across multiple disciplines
  • Create as-built documentation and 4D sequencing visualizations
  • Participate in constructability reviews and design/construction issue resolution
  • Maintain Flintco BIM standards and modeling workflows
  • Support marketing pursuits with modeling content and renderings

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in BIM-related roles (BIM Technician, Modeler, or Coordinator)
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit
  • Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revizto and CMBuilder
  • Proficiency in reality capture platforms (Recap, Drone Deploy, Propeller)
  • Commercial construction project experience
  • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary building systems coordination
  • Understanding of construction documents and processes
  • Associate's degree in technology, architecture, engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
