Role Description (and additional job description)

As a Project Controls Specialist, Scheduling, you play a critical role in partnering with the Project Controls Managers and Field Operations Organization team in helping to ensure our ambitious construction projects are delivered on time and on budget in a highly controlled and systematic way. In your role, you will meet with the teams on a continuous basis to discuss project times and use data you gather to revise forecasts on completion dates. In addition to using scheduling data, you will also analyze other project data to produce reports that help inform on best approaches and practices for the team.

In this role, you'll:

  • Support the implementation of schedules identifying process inefficiencies, risks, and solutions.
  • Aid cross-functional market team with detailed project scheduling and cost analysis as well as manage projects through analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Partner with Project Controls Manager to ensure satisfaction of project milestones and requirements while monitoring project execution to achieve maximum effectiveness.
  • Analyze build consumption and productivity data to develop monthly schedule projections, coordinating input from team members and other reports, and contributing to financial analysis using build and cost metrics.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in project controls, construction engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience extracting and entering data using spreadsheet software for data quality, reconciliation, and process improvements.
  • Experience with scheduling and setting timelines to identify start to finish dates, floats, activity tracking, resource assignment and overall project scheduling.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience in project management, finance and accounting processes and terminology.
  • Experience with scheduling software and best practices (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
  • Knowledge of Actual Cost of work performed.
  • Knowledge of expended cost on a project, knowledge of project delivery, project close out, project reporting.
  • Exposure to ISP networks and technical deployment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

The US base salary for this full-time position is ($32/hr - $40/hr) + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
