Located in Calgary, with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the oil and gas industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance, prefabrication, and modular construction services.

WHO ARE YOU

The Project Manager is accountable for setting up, monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting projects. They will be chairing project review meetings and providing an interface with clients to achieve the required outcomes.

This position is located in our Calgary office, with field site visits required on a project basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • PMP Certification is an asset
  • Technical Diploma or Trade Certification is an asset
  • 5+ years of management experience in an oil & gas construction environment

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Set up, monitor, analyze, and forecast projects of greater complexity and project values up to $50M
  • Review and process Purchase Orders and invoices, and approve within the signing authority
  • Chair project review meetings, lesson learned meetings, and kick-off meetings
  • Active change management
  • Accurate project status reports, timely identification of variances, and development of risk control strategies
  • Provide an interface with the client
  • Vendor Management
  • Work with project coordinator staff as assigned to the project (Cost Reporting, Project Reporting, Scheduling, etc.)
  • Establish a project plan for each project, defining the project's goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, and deliverables
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the company's project portfolio, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities.
  • Track all project costs to ensure completion within budget
