United Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this remote position, you will engage with clients through telehealth systems, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies for virtual assessments and therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, emotional states, and personal circumstances, utilizing standardized assessment tools where appropriate.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to each client's specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group counseling sessions, addressing various mental health disorders and life challenges.
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress toward treatment goals, adapting plans based on clients' responses and any emergent issues.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in urgent situations, ensuring safety and stability during critical moments.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational policies.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Remain informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment techniques and participate in continuous professional education.
• Take part in supervision and training sessions designed to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge, contributing to a culture of learning.
• Uphold the ethical standards of practice as dictated by the relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Your role will involve working with varied client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be equipped to address each client's unique experiences and develop tailored interventions that promote recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively understand and address clients' mental health needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster rapport and trust with clients.
• An empathetic approach, characterized by compassion and dedication to enhancing clients’ overall well-being.
• The ability to work autonomously while also functioning collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws that govern mental health practice.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience in mental health counseling or psychotherapy is essential.
• Experience working with telehealth platforms and providing remote therapy sessions is advantageous.
