Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations, documenting assessments and progress throughout treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, taking into account the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices to promote healing and personal growth.
  • Monitor clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and address any barriers to recovery.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, and social workers, to provide integrated care and address complex client needs.
  • Manage referrals effectively, identifying additional resources and support systems to enhance client recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia is mandatory.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience
