Pavilion Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote capacity. In this full-time role, you will leverage your expertise to provide essential mental health care to a diverse client base, conducting evaluations, creating tailored treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations, documenting assessments and progress throughout treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, taking into account the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices to promote healing and personal growth.
• Monitor clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and address any barriers to recovery.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, and social workers, to provide integrated care and address complex client needs.
• Manage referrals effectively, identifying additional resources and support systems to enhance client recovery.
• Consult with family members and primary caregivers to educate and empower them in managing mental health challenges.
• Utilize up-to-date methodologies in psychotherapy and remain informed of the latest developments in mental health practices.

You will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia is mandatory.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective client interactions and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients and their families.

• Prior experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for seamless documentation and case management.
• Experience in addressing co-occurring disorders, including physical health conditions and substance use, will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with the best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a deep understanding of psychopharmacology is a plus.
