This position is entirely remote, allowing counselors to work from the comfort of their own homes while engaging with clients through our secure telehealth platform. Counselors will work with clients on an appointment basis, utilizing digital tools designed for effective and engaging therapeutic interactions.

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations for new clients to identify their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain ongoing sessions with individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting strategies to suit the evolving needs of clients throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to foster a holistic approach to client care, ensuring all facets of a client's health and well-being are addressed.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements to ensure compliance.
• Actively participate in professional development by staying current with research advancements in mental health and attending relevant workshops and trainings.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia is necessary.

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy and familiarity with modern communication technologies are advantageous. Candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or family therapy will be viewed favorably, as will those with experience in working with diverse populations.
