Job description

Summary
Conducts market research to support product and program development, strategic planning and market growth initiatives. Leads implementation and evaluation of marketing projects, providing recommendations for product enhancements and performance optimization. Oversees the Medicaid Extra Benefits Program, including vendor management, budget oversight, reporting, member escalations, compliance with SCDHHS requirements and support for Member Services and Care Management. Leads annual planning, program enhancements, member communications and internal training.

Logistics:
This is a full-time position working (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm working remote within Columbia, South Carolina. Candidates will report to the office as needed by management.
What You Will Do:
  • Research, coordinate, manage and implement major marketing projects.
  • Manages product/program after launch/implementation. Projects may include promotional campaigns, and/or strategic planning, implementation of products, product management after product launch.
  • Develops/conducts primary market research related to competitors, industry analysis, customer analysis, market trends, portfolio analysis, product development and regulations, and other related topics.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with external companies and vendors.
  • Responsible for ensuring all activities align within the strategic plan, timeline, and budget.
  • Manages the development of project plans, risk management plans and project documentation. Identifies teamwork and testing assignments and provides oversight and direction to project managers and project test teams.
  • Oversees the implementation of detailed project plans including monitoring and control of budgeted costs and delivery timelines.
  • Identifies business requirements.
  • Supports new business implementations or acquisitions.
  • Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements, service levels, and customer requirements.
  • Maintains effective communication with stakeholders during all phases of projects.
  • Resolves or assists in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas.
  • Analyzes customer satisfaction/dissatisfaction with products and processes, which may include pre and post campaign or conference feedback.
  • Coordinates and completes other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Required Work Experience: 3 years marketing support and project coordination and implementations.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of business development, strategic planning, marketing support and process improvement. Strong knowledge of marketing principles and techniques. Strong project planning and analytical/critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar skills.
  • Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
