This position is part of the Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSQ) Finance team within the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) division, supporting the PATRIOT Radar Integrated Product Team. PATRIOT Radar supports a portfolio of various contract types, customers, and deliverables.

The successful candidate will serve as a Principal Program Cost Controls Analyst (P3), leading financial planning, analysis, and execution for the program while managing and developing a team of analysts. This role will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements, and providing strategic insight to program and functional leadership. The candidate will play a critical role in shaping program financial strategy, influencing decision-making, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end financial management of the program, including quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), monthly forecasts, and long-range planning

  • Direct EAC (Estimation At Completion) cycles and TER (Technical Evaluation Report) Reviews including coordination of cross-functional inputs, risk and opportunity (R&O) analysis, variance drivers, and presentation to senior leadership

  • Oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights for internal and customer-facing reporting

  • Provide strategic financial leadership to PATRIOT Product Line teams, LADS Program Management Offices, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional MPMs (Material Program Manager) & POMs (Program Operation Managers) partners

  • Drive weekly and monthly financial operating rhythms, including cost, labor, and performance tracking, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies

  • Establish and maintain program budgets, including governance and approval of Budget Change Requests (BCRs), ensuring alignment across control systems

  • Utilize PRISM, APEX, SAP, and other financial systems to manage program financials, ensure data integrity, and support reporting requirements

  • Communicate financial results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing program decisions and business outcomes

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience in program finance, cost control, or Earned Value Management (EVM) environments

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and leading in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with PRISM, APEX, SAP, or similar program finance systems

  • Experience supporting complex defense programs with multiple contract types

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership

  • EVMS certification or familiarity with Earned Value principles

  • Experience driving process improvements, automation, and standardization across finance functions

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
