• Conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster positive behavioral and emotional change.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, which will inform tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Monitor and document client progress through detailed clinical notes and treatment summaries, ensuring accurate records that adhere to best practices in mental health documentation.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physicians and social workers, to create a holistic care approach for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support and strategies to clients experiencing psychological distress.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population within the community health clinic framework. You will work with individuals and families grappling with a range of issues, including relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• Familiarity with LMFT ethics and scope of practice is essential for this role.
• The capacity to perform independently while also working effectively as part of a collaborative team.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong background or knowledge in family therapy modalities will be considered a plus.
