Position Overview

Prime Health Counseling, LLC is urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team as a full-time remote professional. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to support individuals facing emotional health challenges, substance use recovery, and various psychological disorders. Your license allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of your clients, and we offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, alongside a hire-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans, addressing clientsโ€™ unique needs through individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Document all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes promptly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Employ evidence-based clinical tools and methodologies, collaborating with the clinical team to ensure effective interventions.
  • Develop positive behavior support plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams, taking into account the individual challenges and goals of each client.
  • Engage in licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining compliance with state regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Act as a liaison to relevant service systems, agencies, and community partners, fostering connections that enhance client access to necessary resources.
  • Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and program standards.
  • Participate in networking opportunities by forming relationships with local and state agencies to generate support for our programs and identify new funding opportunities.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through attending training, conferences, and workshops to expand your clinical skills and knowledge base.
  • Embody and promote Prime Health Counseling's mission and values in all aspects of your work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support operational needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with a diverse patient population that includes individuals struggling with emotional and psychological challenges, those in recovery from substance use addiction, and clients who may have developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your approach to care will need to be culturally sensitive and tailored, fostering an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered on their journeys to wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is required to practice in Washington State.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working within community health settings or similar environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the mental health landscape in Washington and knowledge of local resources will enhance your effectiveness.
  • Experience conducting group therapy and facilitating workshops is a plus.
