Description

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Consumer Financial Services & Insurance Services practice groups. This position would be fully remote within the Seattle area.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, nationally recognized team representing insurance companies and financial institutions in complex litigation matters. The practice spans a broad range of insurance coverage issues-including bad faith, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability-as well as consumer financial services litigation involving single-plaintiff matters and appeals in state and federal courts.

This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney seeking meaningful responsibility and hands-on litigation experience within a dynamic and growing cross-practice team.

Position Requirements:

  • Admission to the Washington State Bar in good standing
  • 5+ years of experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts
  • Experience in either (or both): Insurance coverage litigation or Consumer financial services litigation, representing financial institutions
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

Why Join Us:

This position offers significant responsibility, including managing a diverse and challenging caseload and direct involvement in litigation strategy. Hinshaw is committed to attorney development through structured training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities.

We also prioritize work-life balance and offer a flexible remote or hybrid work environment.

Please submit a resume, writing sample, and unofficial law school transcript.

Compensation (Washington Applicants Only):

The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000, depending on factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and market data. This range applies only to candidates performing work in Washington.

Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA) and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We do not discriminate based on age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability.

Please note: Direct applicants only. Recruiter submissions will not be considered.
