Nationally ranked CPA firm is hiring HYBRID tax professionals who have experience working in one or all of the following client industries; Construction, Real Estate, Pro Athletes, Manufacturing or Distribution. This a great opportunity to advance your tax career in this space, or learn a niche. Recent CPA firm experience is a must. Must work through Irvine, CA location.
    • Deliver tax services
    • Prepares federal and state tax returns and documentation for clients.
    • Follows all federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Finds legal deductions to save money for clients.
    • Organizes financial records for clients.
    • Answers client questions and provides advice.
    • Keeps track of deadlines and deliverables for multiple clients.
    • Stays up to date on all federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all personal financial information.

Requirements
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of this tech stack helpful: ProSystems FX, CCH engagement, Go Systems, One Source, Fast Tax
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • MA in Taxation preferred, not required
  • 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience Required
  • Construction, Real Estate, Pro Athletes, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution industry experience Required
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, handle multiple assignments, and thrive with minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPA or on track preferred
