The Senior Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure optimal use of materials, labor, and equipment while meeting customer demand and inventory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder to prioritize orders, resolve production constraints, monitor key performance indicators, and drive continuous process improvements to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

This position reports to the production and material planning manager and is part of the Inventory and production planning function located in Waltham MA, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain efficient production schedules that balance customer demand with material availability, labor capacity, and equipment utilization to achieve service, inventory, and operational goals.
  • Proactively manage and adjust production plans within Oracle to respond to changing business conditions, minimizing risk to customer commitments and overall business performance.
  • Create, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure planning effectiveness, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead root cause investigations for planning, supply, and production challenges, implementing sustainable corrective actions that improve performance and operational reliability.
  • Drive and support cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, system optimization, capacity enhancement, and overall supply chain excellence.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree or masters in related discipline
  • 5 years' experience in production and material planning.
  • Experience using supply chain planning aspects of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and making recommendations on changing planning attributes to improve supply.
  • Excellent data analytical and presentation skills.
  • Experience meeting tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and multi-tasking to achieve results.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience using Oracle fusion ERP for planning.
  • Utilized Power BI for creating reports and analyzing data.
  • APICS - CPIM certification.

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
