The Commercial Product Manager - Custom Oligos is responsible for leading product commercialization and sustaining our expansive Custom Oligo portfolio. You will work with functions across the organization to maintain our market-leading position.

This position reports to the Sr. Commercial Product Manager, who oversees IDT's Gene Editing, Custom Oligo, and qPCR portfolios. This role will be on-site at IDT's Coralville, IA OR Remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop strategic plans and pricing strategies to achieve annual revenue and margin growth objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams to launch and manage Custom Oligo products, including application-specific solutions that leverage IDT's oligo manufacturing expertise.
  • Partner with Sales to develop sales enablement training for new and on-market products and support key accounts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Custom Oligo products and their target markets/customers with regular analysis of trends and competitors.
  • Build and leverage market/customer & competitive insights to establish multi-year product forecasts.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent in business, life sciences, or marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Commercial Marketing; 5 years of experience preferred. May accept less experience with an MBA/MSc/PhD degree or internal Danaher experience.
  • 2+ years of experience within Life Sciences, Diagnostics, or related scientific industry.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and sustaining excellent products.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including internationally.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Formal project management (PMP or similar not required).
  • Influencing all levels of an organization including Senior and Functional Leaders to lead change without direct supervisory leverage.
  • Working cross-functionally with a globally distributed team.

The annual salary range for this role is $110K-$130K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
