Company: Oak Street Health

Title: Marketing Operations Analyst, Patient Communications

Location: NYC, NY/Remote

Role Description:

Effective communication is an essential capability to ensure we appropriately engage, clinically manage, and delight patients along their care journey with Oak St. Health. As a value-based care organization, we believe we must be proactive partners to our patients and maintain regular and consistent dialogue to provide the best possible preventative care. We know that simple and coordinated communications are not the norm in healthcare today - especially for seniors on Medicare.

This individual will be responsible for designing, building, orchestrating, and continuously improving our patient communications across digital, print, and voice channels; supporting our on-going patient engagement and retention efforts.

This individual will report to the Lead Director of Patient Communications on the Patient Experience team.

This is a remote position with the option for hybrid if based in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Outreach: Support the end-to-end patient communication process by partnering with business owners and communication ops teams to guide communications campaigns through intake, development, and launch.

  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze current communication workflows to identify bottlenecks, improve delivery rates, and optimize the patient experience.

  • Asset Management: Assist with design, development, and deployment of assets (emails, SMS, direct mail, forms, etc) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Operational Execution: Assist with day-to-day configuration and deployment tasks for outbound communication systems, ensuring all messaging aligns with Oak Street Health's operational standards.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze communication performance metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve patient experience and operational effectiveness

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical, clinical, marketing, and operations teams to support patient experience and communication initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.

  • 0-2 years of experience in product operations, healthcare operations, marketing analysis, or a similar data-driven functional field.

  • A foundational understanding of (or eagerness to learn) workflow automation, communication platforms, or product operations frameworks in the communications space.
