Nature & Scope:
Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Senior Product Manager on behalf of our client, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions that empower nonprofit organizations, associations, educational institutions, and mission-driven businesses to streamline operations and strengthen community engagement in Atlanta, GA. Through innovative technology and a customer-focused approach, the organization helps clients manage fundraising, membership, events, and financial processes while driving meaningful impact.
In this role you will be responsible for defining product strategy, developing roadmaps, and leading the lifecycle of software products from concept through launch and continuous enhancement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze customer and market insights, prioritize product initiatives, and drive the delivery of innovative solutions that align with business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
- Define and own the platform integrations roadmap, centered on unifying the portfolio through the common data model and retiring legacy point-to-point connections between products.
- Collaborate with architecture on the technical standards, APIs, and contracts that govern how individual products connect to and build.
- Inventory and assess existing point-to-point integrations across the portfolio. Define the migration path from legacy connections to company native integrations
- Work across every product team to understand customer needs, identify shared patterns, and consolidate duplicated efforts into platform-level capabilities
- Ensure data flows cleanly across the portfolio through a common data model: define how customer data, behavioral signals, and AI-generated insights move between products through the company
- Own the third-party integration framework at the platform level, making it straightforward for product teams to build and maintain these connections through the company rather than one-off implementations
- Partner deeply with engineering and architecture to design scalable, secure, and performant integration patterns
- Use AI tools in your own workflow to prototype integration patterns, analyze cross-product usage data, and generate technical specifications
- Translate complex platform architecture into clear narratives for leadership, product peers, and GTM teams
- Monitor platform adoption, usage patterns, and reliability across the portfolio. Use data to drive platform investment decisions
- Stay current on AI platform patterns, foundation model capabilities, and integration best practices across the industry
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on platform, infrastructure, or integration products
- Direct experience building or managing a shared platform that serves multiple product teams or business units
- Experience defining APIs, data contracts, and integration architectures at scale
- Experience managing platform migrations: deprecating legacy systems while maintaining continuity for teams and customers that depend on them
- Experience with third-party integration strategies (partner APIs, marketplace connectors, data sync frameworks)
- Deep technical fluency: you should be comfortable reading architecture diagrams, reviewing API designs, and engaging in detailed technical discussions with engineers
- Comfort using AI-assisted development and prototyping tools to validate platform concepts and accelerate decision-making
- Experience navigating competing priorities across multiple product teams, with the ability to make trade-offs that optimize for the portfolio, not just one stakeholder
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical platform decisions into business impact
- Track record of driving adoption of platforms or shared services both internally and in the market
- Comfort operating with high autonomy in a role where success depends on influence across teams you do not directly control
- Background in SaaS, multi-product platforms, or enterprise software preferred
- Background in the Association or Non-Profit space is a big bonus
